2007 Agricultural Region Re-Count Details

2007 Agricultural Region (LC) Re-Count

A vacancy in the Agricultural Region of the Legislative Council was made available on 3 July 2007. Nominations for the vacancy closed at 12 noon on Monday 16 July 2007 for which seven formal nominations from qualified persons were received.

A re-count was then conducted on 16 July 2007 and Mr Brian Charles Ellis was declared to be elected as a member of the Legislative Council to fill the vacancy in the Agricultural Region.
